Arabs on the Prom

Sometimes when I am out on the Prom looking for a blip, something just presents itself. Another for my collection of prom lamppost stickers. And no, I didn't stick it up there myself. In the evening there were half a dozen of us in the Town Hall - between us we got the whole of the main hall damp-swept (having tidied away the stuff that was still there), mopped the foyer, cleaned one set of toilets and wiped down some chairs for the weekend.
[And for those that don't know, fans of Dundee United are known as Arabs - the most compelling explanation is that it was related to a season in the 1960s when the pitch had a lot of sand on it to make it playable in the winter. Back then it was probably used as a derogatory term but it has subsequently been embraced by the United support to describe themselves.]
