Ladybird "Baby"

Hunting around the garden for something for Tiny Tuesday I came across this caterpillar-like bug which is the larvae of a ladybird ... a very welcome addition to the garden.  I also found several pupa, one of which looked like being discarded and a ladybird immerging (extra).
