A queue!

Surely the one place where you want to be served quickly and be on your way, is a service station on the motorway.

We were not that happy about putting money into Starbuck's coffers, having managed to avoid the establishments for a long while. Neither do we actually like their coffee. But when you are on the motorway, travelling long distances and you feel you really want a cup of coffee, there is not a lot of choice.

So we queued for a long time, for a cup of not very nice coffee, and paid an exorbitant amount of money . . . along with everyone else!!


At least the M25 was a doddle today and we cleverly avoided a hold up on the M1 and we had some Yorkshire fish and chips. And we are now home.
