Firstly, Are You OK?

No no, this isn't a Holly Willoughby tribute post, it's been over 3 years since Moorflix Community Cinema shut down for, you know, that pandemic, and tonight was the first step on its way back to life. That included getting the cinema kit out of the cupboard (where it has not moved) and checking it all works. First rule of cinema club and all that. Only as I was unpacking it did I think about the remote control batteries having not been used for 3 years, so were either flat or rusted making them unusable. Everything worked, including the remotes, the flight cases must have been a good seal against the elements/damp, but I was surprised.

Lots has changed a lot since "then", other things on our plate etc, but there are hopeful signs that others will get involved and the big screen will open again. It has taken 5 months to get to this stage and now that hard work really starts.
