Watcombe Beach

It's been a nice day after a fair drop of rain overnight. I decided to go down to Watcombe Beach. It's a steep path going down and the path and steps were  damaged by a storm some years and as a result the beach has been closed. I imagine that this is so the council doesn't have to take responsibility. It is easily passable if you take care.

The tide was fairly high and receding and I explored some viewpoints in the rocks at the east side of the cove. The one I like best is this half second exposure of a small wave drawing back from the beach. I love the colour of the sea and the detail revealed by the polarising filter.
