Downpour

I spent the morning in the office and then planned to work from home in the afternoon as we had someone coming round to talk “curtains” between 2 and 4 o’clock. Typically, just before I was about to leave the office, the heavens opened and we had a torrential downpour. 

Fortunately, after about half an hour it had eased and I made a dash for it. The water was pouring down from Calton Hill - for once the drain wasn’t yet blocked.

Luckily I made it home in the dry.

The “curtains” man changed his appointment time to 7pm!
