More normal weather!

It rained overnight and the waterfalls quickly responded. It rained all morning while we took our cameras to different villages and tried to keep them dry.

We returned to our hotel for our packed lunch - more beautiful food.

Then the wind got up and the rain stopped. It was too windy to go on the cliff path above Gjógv but it was not too bad in the village.

Suddenly the quiet streets were full of people. Three coaches came from a cruise ship. They were gone in about an hour.

My main shot is the slipway used to launch small boats. The first extra is the same place from a different angle. The second extra is fish drying outside a house. Dried fish and meat is very popular in the diet here. The final extra is to show that beautiful waterfalls can appear overnight.
