Progress

Progress on the new plot. Half an hour before work ripping back more carpet and clearing bindweed roots from where it had laid. Then this evening finishing clearing the front bed of grass and weeds. I’ve left the red and white campion, and teasel, to grow.

These little physical extensions and the sense of progress are the highlight of my day. Although I did have a beautiful walk in the meadow at lunchtime. I saw my first marbled white butterfly of the year when I was there at the weekend.

Cooler today and much more pleasant for activity (for me at least).
