Ribble after rain

Did my other favourite walk along the Ribble at Alston. Saw deer, herons, little egret, curlew and was within 5m of a kingfisher as it took off. Also saw about 10 horseflies (they love biting me). Managed to kill 8 of them but two were successful. Going to take some antihistamine now and then again later. Just had a long FaceTime with Will he is coming home at the weekend, for the summer. So looking forward to seeing him.?
