Rebel, Rebel!

So sang David Bowie and this wee cygnet just seemed to fit the bill.
Momma swan and the six other cygnets stayed closer together but this wee one couldn’t wait to get back in the water. 
I did notice that all the cygnets seemed to take just a few steps then have a wee sit down; perhaps their little legs and feet get tired quickly. Funny to watch though.
We, at long last, got rain overnight, and some was very heavy. We also were on the receiving end of another substantial shower this afternoon. The gardens must be extremely grateful!
