Animal hospital!

Starling fledgling lying on the lawn tonight. Tried to fly off when I went out but couldn’t make it to the top of the garden fence.

No possibility it’s fallen from a nest. Fully fledged and no obvious sign of injury and not lying somewhere which would suggest it had simply flown into something.

Lots of them visit the garden but with parents in tow. No en mass visit this evening and no sign of any parents returning so into a box for now as there are numerous cats using the fences as walkways.

Lid open and in the shade in case it is stunned and decides to fly off
