The Chieftan

Fascinating planning meeting with James Watt as we prepare the workshops requested by each school.

This is a shot of a painting, The Chieftain, which pupils will be hearing about as they work with the artist. The painting of the tug is an excellent illustration of how his paintings are created in such a way that the viewer is taken on a trail, guided by lines, and light, and colour... the psychology of vision.

It was great even talking about the plans. But wait to see what pupils make of it and create, using the ideas!
