Please can we have some rain.

It's not often that you say that in the Lake District but we have had no significant rain for over a month, our lawn has lost its green and most of the waterfalls are but mere trickles.  Thunderstorms are forecast for tonight so, with a bit of luck, we will start to see things recovering in the garden.
