Restoration Is Underway

My Porsche Boxster fell victim to Covid, in that it was not possible to receive an MOT certificate at the start of the pandemic.

The car has been connected to a trickle charger since then. In view of the very high mileage I have covered in the twenty years I have owned it, I am certain it is not viable to have it made roadworthy.

Today we set about washing and cleaning the exterior and it has come up rather well.

The Citroën Pluriel has also been refurbished. This car’s automatic gearbox requires to be replaced and again the cost far exceeds value of the car.

However, we have it in mind to make it into a sitouterie and place it in the garden. The roof can wind back. The windows roll down completely. There is a good sound system and it has proved itself to be fun for picnics.

A connection to a 12 volt power source will bring all this back to life.
