The magic roundabout, Dunkeld.

We set off to pretty Dunkeld today, sure that our guests would fall for its charm and they did. We wandered, discovered the park, hid behind (and up) trees, watched the ducks, stopped at the stunning Cathedral, sampled and bought delicious Dunkeld Smoked Salmon and then had an obligatory visit to Kettles, home of kitchen and home ware essentials galore!

After lunch, we ambled along the country roads to Tulliemet, breathing deeply, picking Dandelion clocks, watching the fairy (seeds) dance away, enjoying the luxury of time together and coveting rhubarb from a very overgrown and neglected veg patch.

The day of leisurely luxuries was completed as we were relieved of our usual bath and story time duties, and enjoyed a delicious meal cooked for us instead of by us.
