Wild onions at Monemvasia
After a season of wild garlic in Stranraer, it was lovely to see these stretches of wild onions. The approaching storm made all the blues and purples 'pop'.
5 minutes later I was strolling along rainy cobbled paths through the old Fort at Monemvasia, claiming my Scottish ethnicity as one who is used to rain.
5 minutes more, and I was dashing for cover under the criss-crossing knot of paths, as they became streams and stairways became waterfalls.
Fantastic!
