View from our room

Checked out of our hotel this morning, has our brunch and took a bus back to Hanoi. Annie and I were gutted as it was very sunny. On the bus it was literally just the locals. When we got to the harbour we got squeezed onto a speed boat. Luckily there was a bit that was in the sun so we had space as all the vietnamese didn't want to be in the sun. It's so funny out here as they use whitening cream to become whiter. When we were staying in the nice hotel we got freebies. I used the soap and afterwards found out from Annie and Katie it was whitening stuff!!
We got to the next harbour and had to squeeze onto another bus. Katie was in the aisle and I was sitting on the stairs. Was so packed. We stopped off to then get onto another bus. It took 3 hours on the bus. The last 2 were so awful as I was extremely desperate for the loo! Was almost about to stop at the side of the road. When we arrived the loo at the station was revolting. There were no cubicles and you had blocks to squat on too wee. So everyone could see you. We shared a taxi with this guy we met on the bus on the way back to hanoi called Bas. Checked in at Hanoi backpackers 1. A different one to the last one. We then went to international SOS for Katie and waited around for quite a long time. We were at a different side of Hanoi. We found a really nice pizza place and splashed out on it. They were really good. Earlyish night in.
