From Wasteland to Wildflower Garden

This part of Northampton is, quite frankly, unloved and ugly, yet a scattering of wild flowers left to do their thing has certainly brightened it up.

It rained this morning! There was a downpour for about an hour, with thunder and lightning. I was walking at the time and thankfully had an umbrella, though my feet were soaked through. The garden is looking cheerful.
