Last minute gig for the Cannibalz. They were brill but Tobes not happy with his performance. He made a couple of little mistakes which were barely noticeable but he's such a perfectionist he went over and over it for the rest of the evening. He's so hard on himself. They supported a really good band covers called OK Riot. 

Spent the day collecting my new car from Telford. My cousin is MD at a dealership there so we went to see him. Felt a bit sad leaving the Skoda there (we part exchanged and my cousin gave us a really good price even though I told him about the starting issues). We've had it for 12 years from when Toby was tiny so lots of memories attached to it.  

After the car purchase we met mum, my brother and sister for a lovely pub lunch. 

More sadness when we got home as Hercules was struggling and we could see he wasn't going to make it. We knew it was a long shot to rescue such a tiny wild bird but we were hopeful when he survived so much. By the time we got back from doing the horses he'd gone. Eva was in floods of tears bless her :(
