Collaboration and Interpretation
Arts University Plymouth has been working with the National Trust at Saltram, Plymouth. Students from the University have visited the house and gardens and produced textiles and screen prints inspired by what they have seen. The work of each student is displayed on a board like this one, and all the work is exhibited in the light and summery orangery, located in the gardens. It was interesting to see what had caught the eye of each student and how they had interpreted their chosen subjects. All of them were excellent and this one was chosen at random. Visiting the gardens and the exhibition helped to make a memorable Fathers Day.
