Alternative Supper Club

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

For my birthday, my brother bought us a voucher for Tony Singh’s Supper Club and we were booked in for this afternoon (it’s lunch on a Saturday, rather than dinner).

The Supper Club format is private dining for 12 people in his kitchen. We had cocktails and canapés on arrival and introduced ourselves to the other diners.

Tony is an amazing host and hilarious. The food and accompanying wines were fantastic. It was a brilliant experience. I was slightly nervous about sitting at a table and making conversation with strangers but there was so much wine that conversation really wasn’t an issue! The other people were great craic and most of us went to the pub afterwards. We were obviously new best friends and had set up a WhatsApp group by the end of our first drink!

We headed off after a couple of hours to meet Kitty Cat and Marsh in the pub and excitedly told them all about our day before the evening descended into random poo stories! When The Prince and I wandered down the road, we were both very squiffy and giddy on a great day although The Prince seemed to be struggling slightly with an invisible obstacle course!
