Digging for Data

Meet Roelof. At 07:00, he's digging trenches in front of the house. The street is strewn with orange tubing and many metres of bundled glassfibre wires. By the end of the day, the trenches will be closed and the pavement repaired (or so I hope).

By next week, we'll enjoy the goodness of gigabit internet.

What will we do with it? Stream HD video from every device in the house? Host the blipfoto website?
