There may be, for all we know, but there are three different forms of buttercup adorning the old field at the moment. We like these ones with their open petals a lot, although we'd rather see them in a country verge than here.

Today promised temperatures of over 20C. It took a while but got there eventually and we had to change into shorts! We were doing a bit more field weeding, returning our attention to the Chestnut garden and tackling the usual culprits, including some seriously large bramble roots - perhaps we should blip them, just for the record!
