A visit to Graham's barn...

...and the bike shop in Penistone this aft...

Roy's puncture repair on the front tyre from a couple of weeks ago failed - glass still stuck in the tube, which popped through the patch. We think we've discovered the culprit - the recycling wagon this week left a trail of glass shards in the road every time it stopped... He'd used up both spare tubes so wanted to replace them, and there's a shop on the Trans Pennine Trail on the outskirts of Penistone which did the business.

He'd also been down to Graham's farm with him last week, and had been amazed by all the old machinery tucked in behind the barn. Graham never throws anything away - you never know when you might need a spare... Anyway - I have an open invite for Derelict Sunday, so we called in on the way to the bike shop. This is the front section of an old combine harvester, poked on a trailer behind the barn - Graham has a working one exactly the same ;)

Awful thunderstorm last night - the American lady had a chat about 3am again - and more thunder and lightning due for later. The garden will welcome the rain...
