Peacefulness

Fiona (aka The Head Gardener) decided we should have a barbecue for Father’s Day. We are not barbecue people particularly, so we see it as a bit of a treat. It was lovely with good wine, and fine weather. A number of us among our near neighbours are having one today because we are forecast rain and thunderstorms tonight so we want to get to enjoy the last of the summer before winter closes in!
Fiona decided she fancied a bottle of Prosecco so it has become a bit of a tradition to see how far the cork will travel. Today it was on to the main roof of the house, down on to the sun room roof then into the garden! Maybe 25 yards…
