Imbil Town Centre

After church, and because Ben wasn’t working today, we set off on an adventure to check out a quaint little town called Imbil. About 45 min drive from Peregian.

The Valley Rattler used to run through Imbil and we were keen to see it. Sadly the tracks have been covered up and no train runs through now.

I guess this was the original train which is now resting here on the turntable and a tourist attraction?

It’s a lovely locomotive, so beautiful. When the boys were little we loved all things Thomas and often went to see the trains when they came near us in Kent. Brought back lots of happy memories. And nice to have an outing with all four of us, which seems so rare these days.
