Clear out

Time for the big push on clearing out.

As MrH is not here I am getting boxes of junk down from the loft and sorting: chucking, charity or eBay. Here is a pair of 1950s screw back earrings I inherited many many years ago from a neighbour. I am keeping a bracelet that she gave me which is in a similar style as I always recall her wearing that and it makes me smile (sadly I can’t wear it as I’m allergic to the metal it’s made from).

I think these earrings are likely 1950s as was most of her styling. The stones are plastic but look really like semi precious stones. I’d say it’s like a mock baroque style? Mock baroque sounds pretty funny :-)
