A late show

Out again to Palmer - to pick up some paint. I was going to come out a couple of years ago on a dedicated working visit to the flat as the shutters all need repainted but it never happened. Covid happened and the flights were cancelled.
So instead I’ve decided to do a bit (not too much) every time I’m out. Today, the wooden thingy above the plant trough.
Then a swim in the sea until we came face to face with a jellyfish. If they have faces.
Later I stepped out solo to take in the second half of the Norway v Scotland game. Porteous, dependable as ever, gave away a penalty and it looked all over. And then an equaliser with three minutes to go. And then… and then… not the usual Scotland script of glorious failure! Get in there! I had just leapt to my feet when the SK entered the bar behind me. I’m sure she was well impressed. Well, I was the only Scot there.
