Final montages for the guests arriving tomorrow. Things that went wrong:-
- Misfiring boiler in a van with guests in
- Over door fell off
- Broken window pane
- Lightbulb rusted into holder, took an hour and a lot of scraping off of rust to get the damn thing out
- Gas lock took more than a little jiggling to get open, making a ten minute job around twenty

One of those days where it never rains but it pours. As we had had to ring so much to ask for advice on how to deal with things that we were not technically qualified to deal with, our boss Richard decided to send Jim across from Les Sables (a four hour drive) to come and help up with our various problems...not just from this day, but all the rest that should have been picked up on when the people came the first time to La Forêt.

Not much more else to say to be honest, it has been a very long day. Today we started at eight o'clock in the morning, and we weren't finished until eleven o'clock in the evening. This is a view of our site, that tree is just opposite where Jen and I live - apologies for nothing more interesting, promise when I don't need to do as much work the pictures will be more artistic!
