Alnwick - Mighty Dub day 2

Cloudier today which was much better for Phin and all the other dogs. His paw still looked sore this morning so we headed into the local pet shop. The staff were fabulous and we left with a pack of neoprene boots, a new halter, many treats and an antiseptic spray all for relatively few pounds.

Quick coffee in a lovely outdoor coffee shop and back to the festival site. Met up with our friends at lunchtime and wandered round the arena. Many stalls with lovely silver and sea glass jewellery including one where everything is fashioned from old silver cutlery. There’s also loads of camping equipment plus a few designed to attract the younger audience.

Listened to some accomplished bands, I especially enjoyed the Sleeze sisters (70’s covers) and Atomic (80’s covers) and ate some delicious foods. Luckily I’m doing loads of walking so some of the food calories were offset by exercise!)

We headed off to bed before the headliners came on - getting too old for this - and left the family to it.
