First the fog …

…………… And then the hoar frost.
So beautiful seeing the sparkles on the frosted tussocks.
It was really cold out there early this morning and if it hasn’t been so beautiful I wouldn’t have stayed out as long as I did - except that Missy needed a walk as I was about to head out to church! We did end up with a beautiful blue sky, but I think that the day’s high was about 6°C. It’s cold again out there tonight too.

My local granddaughter and her husband and littlies have gone down to the Catlins for the weekend and their photos are so green and leafy compared with the frost & ice that’s happening here!
