Absent

I've not been about much this last week or so as work and 'the' play have kept me busy.

Rather stupidly, I had failed to realise how much I was missing m'boy and those bedtime routines of getting him bathed, dressed and fed.

It's been nice having some time off today and (in-between visits from workmen) being able to spend that time with him.

The play has been hard work and ultimately rewarding, but I am also looking forward to getting back to the even more challenging (but ultimately rewarding) role of 'father' as I think I might just be getting the hang of it....
