Going Down, Down, Down
Whoever suggested that Snail's Pace was slow? Try rushing into house, scrubbing hands, finding camera, dashing back out to greenhouse, getting camera the right distance away to autofocus then taking several shots. All before the little gastropod races round the top of the flowerpot and down the side.
All this knowing that one bump and it would retract into its shell.
An outside sort of day today: planting up some new pots bought for The Mother's front garden. Then I was allowed into The Man's greenhouse to plant up hanging baskets for ourselves and Mother.
At one point The Man said "Are we having herb hanging baskets this year?" "Er, no" I said, "Ive put the herbs into the basket while I put the Sweet Peas onto the herb shelf" "Oh, your blipping!" he said, exasperated.
All the Sweet Peas were out of focus. Thank goodness I'd taken a couple of the snail that were in focus. Having a bit of trouble with close-up focussing!
Needless to say, The Man was not as pleased as I was to see this little darling in his greenhouse.
