Scout

First, thanks to all for the wonderful, kind comments yesterday about Angus. I really appreciate the friends I have met through Blip.

This is his sister, Scout named after the character in To Kill a Mockingbird. In the book, Scout is unusually intelligent (she learns to read before beginning school), unusually confident (she fights boys without fear), unusually thoughtful and good (she always acts with the best intentions).

One quickly realizes when reading To Kill a Mockingbird that Scout is who she is because of the way her father, Atticus has raised her. He has nurtured her mind, conscience, and individuality.

These pups are so cute and amusing, I am going to really have to try to maintain a sense of balance to keep this from turning into a dog journal.
