Back in the Bay

I'd seen it before but, coming in the side entrance to Bridge Plaza shopping centre today, I was reacquainted with a frieze along the passage wall of super-enlarged historical photographs of Batemans Bay. This one pulled me up because the car backed in at the (long gone) petrol bowsers in Orient Street looked to me very like the Vauxhall 10 my father had in Edinburgh in the late 1940s. Anyone confirm?
