Saturday: Towards The Beach

We had a pleasant morning, catching up with ourselves and doing some washing. Early afternoon we both had haircuts.  Mine wasn’t strictly necessary but it’s good to get it tidied up so that Nancy, Hairdresser to the Stars of Belmopan, has a template from which to work.  And Andrew, who cuts our hair here, is a perfectionist and does a very good job, so I feel nicely sorted.

We walked into Whitley Bay and had a browse in ‘The Bound’ bookstore.  It’s been 9 months since I last did that - I nearly passed out with the lovely smell of new books.

We did a bit of shopping for things we need to take back, had a couple of drinks in ‘The Dog and Rabbit’, followed by fish and chips, and a £2 play on the slot machines.  

And that was our very satisfying day.
