Glasfryn Hall
SATURDAY
Jason, our electrician called this morning as arranged to fit a new ceiling lights in the living room and dining room. It involved some work in the roof space which can be unpleasant in this hot weather. We are very pleased with the lights.
This afternoon we drove over to Caerwys which is only four miles away by road. Glasfryn Hall was hosting an "open garden". I particularly enjoyed the Chinese Tea Garden with lily pond and pagoda and the walled garden. Whilst I was waiting in the queue for coffee and cake the BBMF Avro Lancaster flew low almost directly overhead.
Afterwards we stopped off at the Y Ddol Uchaf Nature Reserve for a short walk.
Tuna Nicoise for dinner and then an hour in the garden watering and pruning before dark.
