A Long Day

Into Murnau again and I left S with her mum while I wandered down to the local army barracks seeing as it was ‘Tag der Bundeswehr’ or Army Open Day if you prefer. I fancied seeing whether they’d have any heavy vehicles on display - pretty much everything as it turned out! There were loads of kids queuing up to sit in a tank or in a helicopter pilot’s seat but I liked this little APC and the soldiers were being really nice to the kids. Hot work though!
Extra: alongside all the heavy stuff and the hi-tech stuff there’s still a place for mules. Who better to humph the beer kegs?
