Grey Heron

There were 2 Heron today, the middle female (pictured) and the adult male. Unfortunately there were loads of gulls who were a bit of a distraction for both the Heron and the crows (adults and young crows this morning). I fed them all and moved further into the park. The adult flew overhead but not the the little female, when I turned she few over to me again. I started feeding her and the male rejoined us and kept chasing the younger one away. Her solution was simple she stood next to me, the male (who gets quite close) didn't come near her. She really is quite special. I make the most of these moments as I never know how long they will last.
