Frogs not flowers

Today I went to see my friend C as she has had bad news about one of her cats.  Today he seems fine but inside he is not and kitties go downhill very quickly as I well know.
Despite the sadness we had a lovely afternoon chatting along with her partner H.  They gave me, as a belated birthday present, this pair of frog brooches as they know how fond I am of these green amphibians, both real and in jewellery form!  I had hoped to get away with using this image for Flower Friday but on close examination I realised that the frog on the right is resting on a lily pad not a lily!
