One in the Eye...

Last Saturday saw the start of the UK American Flag football league. The steel city knights (the team I play for) played our first two games of the season shutting out both teams in walk over victories. I felt I played well for the old guy on the team (my nickname is granny) In the process I managed to get a forearm to the eye socket and knew it was going to hurt the next day.

I have been cultivating the shiner for the past 6 days so it was nice and yellow and blue for this shot. (suffering for my art).

However, I planned to use the rotalux as a rim light placed in front of a mirror to reflect the light back onto my face a little. (I could have used an additional flash I guess) but still achieved what I wanted.
