Walk For Scotland

As mentioned in previous blips, today was the day for the Walk For Scotland 2009. I was with a small group of people walking the 6.6 mile route around Edinburgh earlier on today. Between us we were raising money for Cancer Research UK.

The day started off predictably wet and overcast but as soon as i arrived at Holyrood Parliament buildings the weather improved and as the day progressed the sun got stronger. After my sever burning due to the Australian sun on 31st December 2007 i have been quite keen on putting sun protection on to prevent burning...i really didn't think i needed any today however i was proved wrong. My face is red and it's clearly been burnt by the sun. Oops.
