I see you!
We got up at dawn this morning, and walked to the bukit Timah reserve which is just down the road from where I'm staying.
It's the last bit of jungle in Singapore (or anywhere in asia near a city for that matter), and also the highest point of Singapore.
We walked through wild monkeys, people doing tai Chi, a sword wielding chinese man doing exercises/moves with it. When I got tot he Quarry lake I just sat and listened to the sounds of the jungle - which were amazing - beautiful and very different birdsong amongst a myriad of other sounds.
We had hoped to kingfishers, but alas, none were there this morning. Above my seat in the jungle, was a monkey freeway high in the trees. I managed this one peering down at me trying to figure out what the Mistress was doing with me!
We spent a couple of hours there, but then walked back because it was getting really hot. The Mistress then left me in the bedroom while she got to swim in teh pool for 2.5 hours.
Nap time now before heading out to Orchard Road.
