Goslings

A trip to the bank gave an excuse for a little walk with No.1 to see the birds by the river. It was a lovely surprise to find the geese with recently hatched goslings. We got a close look without getting pecked or hissed at.

The swans have a nest on the island, which you can see in the photo. We'll come back another time and hope to see cygnets.
