Sheep dog

Another pretty hot day today. A friend came to collect me this morning to pick my brains about her garden. I was introduced to her new companion, Fred, a young and lively dog who eventually had to be shut indoors as he threatened to take my eye out with a long, pointed pole which he'd found!

Went down to the Walled Garden after lunch to water my poor little scraps of peas and runner beans. I doubt if I'll get much of a crop this year, so I'm growing more beans at home in big tubs - at least I can water them every day here.

Well Fred might have been a bit of a liability, but at least he accidentally provided me with today's Blip!
