Into the light

Nature is beautiful. I am sometimes so moved by what I see that I just stand and stare.

SR loved nature. She loved the amazingness of what she saw around her. Our walks together were so often punctuated by us stopping and pointing at something or other. She was so knowledgeable about Australian flora and fauna and I learned so much from her. Of late, she was very unwell and the beautiful friend I had so much in common with was hidden from view. I just hope that, now that she is free from her fear and her pain, she is somewhere lighter, surrounded by all the things she held so dear.

It's just so damned hard for those of us left missing her.
