Egret

I have no photographic evidence but my husband saw two different ( we think) kingfishers today, at different locations locally. I only saw the second sighting as it flew along the river, The first location was well away from the river in an unexpected location. 
The paths were quiet and only a little egret at a distance made it photographically. We saw some shell ducks having a squabble but they were hidden in the reads.
It’s still very warm and we are crossing our fingers for some forecast rain in a couple of days.
