IT'S INDY CAR WEEKEND AT RA

You motorheads out there will know immediately that these are not Indy Cars. Some people aren't sure they're cars at all....much less Indy types. Radicals are British made and purposely constructed to be street legal (not all models) and still be able to run on the race track without modification.

They are quite popular and gaining in popularity. Seven models are made and contain engines from 4-cyl to 8-cyl, the cost increaseig as the HP increases.  All engines are RPE racing spec and hand built especially for these cars.

Base cost is $171,280 $US.  The RXC Spyder flagship model has a top speed of 180mph (290kph), has 650 basal horsepower (bhp) and will go from 0-60mph (0-97kph) in 2.7 seconds.

The Radicals along with USF 2000 and USF 2000 Pro are companion series to the Indy Car Series.  Today was just testing...Indy cars will make an appearance tomorrow.  You can learn more about Radical cars here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radical_Sportscars

It was overcast, cold and windy today with a NE wind right off of a very cold Lake Michigan.  I actually thought of wearing gloves.  I'm hoping for a wind shift tomorrow.
