The Upper Garden

is the one which we established in previous years. It is closer to the house and the water supply. This was taken rather early this morning as the thought of our dessicating vines (elsewhere) woke me up. I watered them and had a look round plus a mug of tea. I was alarmed to discover a mating pair of Colorado beetles on a potato leaf. Their souls left them quite suddenly. It rained heavily later on. D planted onions.
