Invitation

We were given this invite on Sunday .Guess I should be excited but I am not . I don't really want to go. I can't find an excuse for not going though so I guess we will have to accept
How can a slice of bread put the sugar levels from 4.5 to 11 this morning and the same slice of bread not touch them in the evening when having a hypo and this evenings one had jam on it.
Lovely relaxing day. Alan took Alison to Staines whilst I ran a couple of errands and then joined them for a coffee.
This evening a friend popped in to meet Alison as she will look after her needs whilst we are away. She has just come from seeing her mum and knows the end of her life is in sight. She had dementia which suddenly got worse with a chest and urine infection earlier this year and she will only eat soft food now. Very difficult for my friend
